Abstract
We talk to Meron Mendel, Director of the Bildungsstätte Anne Frank in Frankfurt, About his personal journey into political education, the challenges of democracy education, and current social developments in Germany. In view of a world increasingly influenced by authoritarian tendencies, he emphasizes the urgency of fundamental reform in the School system and of shaping political education as an interactive and dialogical process.
