Abstract

This article presents the parental engagement concept at the Mosaikschule Marburg, a special school for students with intellectual disabilities. To individually support students, the school places great emphasis on the involvement of families in the students’ learning and the organization of the school. This approach has proven successful during the ongoing pandemic and was therefore expanded further. Hereinafter, essential elements of parent participation at the Mosaikschule are presented.
