Abstract

In this article the Dutch educational services system is discussed. The authors describe the structure, the tasks, the personnel, the regulatory framework, the finances, the inspection as well as empirical studies of educational services. It turns out that an elaborate system of educational services exists which currently is subject to an extensive process of change and has to face an increasing amount of competition.
